There are many opportunities to get involved at Petra Bible Church!

People become more mature disciples at our church by growing in their understanding and practice of Belief, Obedience, Abiding, Serving, and Worshipping Christ in their daily lives.

This process of growth happens through being a part of Sunday Services, Small Groups, Classes, Individual Discipleship, Evangelism, and Prayer.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

Qualities of a Petra Bible Church member:

1. A teachable spirit. (Proverbs 1:5, 9:9)
2. A humble and contrite heart. (Psalm 51:17)
3. Evidence of growth in love for Christ and love for others. (Ephesians 3:14-19, Colossians 3:12-17)
4. A commitment to the health and growth of Christ-centered churches around the world. (Hebrews 10:19-25)
5. A sincere respect, submission, and heart-felt support to the leadership of the church. (Hebrews 13:17)

Petra Bible Church Bozeman is a part of Petra International Ministries, connecting the church with church plants in Nicaragua and Colombia.

God continues to provide opportunities for partnership around the world. Church members are able to take short term mission trips throughout the year.

Petra Bozeman also desires to train, equip, and launch missionaries to different locations around the world in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Petra Bible Church trains and mentors pastors, elders, and small group leaders, building up the body for service.

Petra Bible Church trains men to be leaders in all walks of their life through discipleship meetings and Bible studies.

Purpose:

The women’s ministry of Petra Bible Church seeks to teach, equip, and train women to walk with Christ. First, to teach them the Word of God and the attributes of Christ. Then to equip and train them to teach the Word and disciple others. It is our prayer that the Lord uses the Bible Studies, discipleship, and times of fellowship to give the women of Petra Bible Church a great love for Jesus Christ, His Word, and others.

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:1-2

The purpose of the Young Adult group is to evangelize the lost and disciple future church leaders, ministry leaders, missionaries, parents, and pastors.

Petra Youth focuses on training up the next generation of Kingdom workers who do not follow the status quo, but who live radically devoted lives to Christ and the Great Commission.

We exist through Him and for Him. We have the privilege to welcome children from different cultures every Sunday, with one goal, to teach them about our Savior, who He is and who we are and our need for Him every day. The Bible is our guide and lots of crafts, games and object
lessons that help kids from all ages to have a certain understanding according to their ages. We help parents to build a Bible based Christian foundation for their families and the society.
