Opposite Personalities for God's Glory

The Apostle Paul, as a dominant personality type (D), was direct, decisive, and focused on completing the mission, while Barnabas, as an influencer personality type (I), was encouraging and people-oriented. God uses these different personality types to complement one another in building His church - the D's are starters, the I's are builders, the S's (steadiness) are supporters, and the C's (compliance) are quality control. When our unique personalities are submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, God uses them for His glory and the building of His kingdom. As the church matures, each member must embrace their unique role in the body, with everyone functioning according to their God-given design and allowing others to flourish in their areas of giftedness.
